Meet our trainers

Brock Entner

Brock grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, competing on the AAU National Circuit with the Southwest Rebels under Mike Oguinn while playing Varsity Basketball under Coach Charlie Wilde at Pinnacle High School. Suffering a major knee injury (torn ACL) November 2005, Brock was forced to watch his entire Senior Season from the sidelines. After rehabilitation, Brock bounced back playing 2 years at Yavapai Community College before transferring to Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.

During college off-seasons and immediately after graduating, Brock was working as a top individual skills instructor with former Coach Oguinn and his Precision Hoops Basketball Academy. In 2012, Brock took his professional experience to Los Angeles, California and started a Basketball specific Personal Training Service, Rise Up Basketball. Brock has coached at Sierra Canyon and Chatsworth High School along with helping a handful of teams and coaches run practice and/or training clinics. Brock has most recently started his own Rise Up Elite and Select teams for kids 10-12 years old in 2016.

With a Vision to reach more individuals and impact more players with his passion, Brock formed the relationships and took the necessary steps towards starting the Rise Up Basketball Foundation, Inc. in hopes to provide a safe learning environment with high quality basketball training, camps and clinics to underprivileged youth and teens.
